Precautions::
1.The flux shall be baked at 300–350°C for 2 hours before use.
2.Prior to welding, impurities such as rust, primer, oil, grease, carbon arc gouging scale, and welding slag shall be removed from the base metal surface.
3.The flux can be reused, provided that at least 20% new flux is added each time to maintain the welding process performance and the mechanical properties of the weld metal.
Features and Applications:
1. SJ101 is a fluorine-basic agglomerated flux with excellent desulfurization, dephosphorization and rust-resistance capabilities.
2. The deposited weld metal exhibits good ductility and toughness, low hydrogen content, and excellent resistance to both cold cracking and hot cracking.
3. When used in combination with welding wires such as H08MnA, H10Mn2, H08MnMoA and H08Mn2MoA, it is suitable for welding low-carbon steels and low-alloy steels in applications including shipbuilding, pressure boilers and piping.
