H10Mn2 is a copper-coated high-manganese submerged arc welding wire. When matched with low-manganese, low-silicon fluxes, it delivers excellent welding performance, featuring a stable arc, easy slag removal, and good weld appearance. Applications: Used in combination with fused fluxes such as HJ330, HJ350, and HJ431, or agglomerated fluxes such as SJ101, SJ102, and SJ101G, it is suitable for welding carbon steels as well as alloy steels of corresponding strength grades used in boilers, pressure vessels, bridges, shipbuilding, and similar applications.

Radiographic testing requirement for welds: Grade I

 

Precautions

1.The flux shall be dried at 300–350 °C for 2 hours before use.

2.Prior to welding, remove all impurities from the base metal surface, including rust, primer, oil, grease, carbon-arc gouging scale, and welding slag.
