Description:          welding flux SJ609 is basic agglomerated flux for welding austenitic stainless steel. It is grey granule in appearance. SJ609 is suitable for use with DC power, and please connect filler wire with positive electrode. The flux provides stable arc, good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal. Welding flux SJ609 is also applied to welding of stainless steel with Titanium content. In combination with wires for austenitic stainless steel (ER308, ER321, ER347), welding flux SJ609 is used in the welding of austenitic stainless steel, and the corresponding grade low temperature structural steels for shipbuilding, as well as the corresponding acid-resistant stainless structural steels.
